Donation Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Donation Attendant to join our team at Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience, promoting sales, and ensuring the efficient processing of donations.

• Provide outstanding customer service to donors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
• Accurately receive and process donations, including labeling and storing items in the production room or sales floor.
• Ensure that donors receive a receipt for their donation, regardless of its size.
• Identify and handle hazardous materials, providing the donor with information on proper disposal.
• Assist with loading and unloading donations and merchandise, as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized production room and sales floor, adhering to Goodwill's standards.
• Operate pallet jacks and walkie stackers safely and efficiently.
• Conduct daily safety inspections on company-owned equipment and ensure compliance with safety rules.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with donors.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.
