About the JobWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer CFD Specialist to join our team in the Conception and Production of Logiciels for Ecoulements de Fluides (CLEF) unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions for fluid dynamics simulations, with a focus on the SoNICS software platform. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful development and deployment of our software solutions, which will be used by researchers, industry partners, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain software solutions for fluid dynamics simulations using Fortran, C++, Python, and other programming languages.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful development and deployment of our software solutions.
- Work with industry partners and other stakeholders to understand their needs and develop software solutions that meet their requirements.
- Participate in the development of new software features and functionalities, with a focus on improving the performance and accuracy of our simulations.
- Contribute to the testing and validation of our software solutions, ensuring that they meet the required standards and quality criteria.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in software development, with a focus on fluid dynamics simulations and CFD.
- Strong programming skills in Fortran, C++, Python, and other programming languages.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other team members and stakeholders.
