Mission
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in conceptualizing and delivering electrical solutions for various tertiary sector projects. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:
- Developing detailed plans and schematics for both high and low current systems.
- Conducting precise cable and protection calculations to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Actively participating in synthesis studies to contribute innovative ideas and technical expertise.
- Proposing cost-effective solutions with comprehensive technical justifications, ensuring project feasibility and client satisfaction.
- Effectively managing your workload and prioritizing tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Adhering to industry standards and implementing quality processes throughout the design lifecycle.
- Potentially participating in site reception and integration activities to ensure seamless project execution.
- Acting as a vital communication link between project managers, construction teams, engineering offices, clients, and regulatory bodies.
Domain of Expertise
Your expertise will be applied across diverse projects within the tertiary sector, including:
- New construction and renovation of electrical installations.
- Electrical power distribution systems encompassing both high-voltage (HT) and low-voltage (LT) domains.
- Specialized systems such as fire detection, access control, intrusion detection, security surveillance, and integrated building management systems.
Profile Requirements
To excel in this role, you will possess:
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in a similar engineering environment.
- A Bachelor's degree (BSc) plus 2 years of specialized education, such as a BTS in electrotechnics or a comparable qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical design within an engineering office setting.
- A valid driver's license for site visits and project coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Caneco, Dialux software, and a good understanding of REVIT (BIM) principles.
