A prominent global entity in the naval defense sector, with a rich history spanning over four centuries, is in search of skilled professionals to design, construct, and sustain outstanding vessels such as submarines, aircraft carriers, and frigates equipped with critical digital systems.

Position Overview

  • Specialization: Nuclear - Mechanic in Maintenance and Operations
  • Employment Type: Full-time - Nuclear Mechanic (M/F)

Within the Toulon Services Division, tasked with the operational upkeep of submarines and surface ships, we are seeking a Nuclear Mechanic (M/F) for a full-time role.

Your primary responsibility will be to guarantee the maintenance and refurbishment of onboard nuclear boilers. Your tasks will encompass:

  • Executing mechanical protocols for both preventive and corrective maintenance of the boiler
  • Carrying out mechanical procedures for the requalification of the boiler
  • Performing mechanical tasks on critical safety apparatus
  • Conducting hydraulic assessments on machinery and circuits
  • Documenting interventions, procedures, maintenance logs, and production evidence
  • Preparing, diagnosing, and providing expertise
  • Engaging in significant operations related to fuel unloading and reloading

Discussions during interviews will provide insights into your responsibilities with the department manager and further details about the position. Work hours will follow a 2x8 schedule throughout the year.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a professional mechanical domain, preferably with relevant background
  • Proficient mechanical knowledge and capabilities
  • Collaborative team player with a focus on organization and safety
  • Experience within the naval sector is advantageous
