About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst, Transactions to join our team at La Salle University. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating, structuring, and closing real estate transactions. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our transactions meet the highest standards of quality and value.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Paris team in evaluating and structuring real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales.
- Participate in the due diligence process and contribute to the analysis of value enhancement opportunities for our existing and future portfolios.
- Review proposed acquisitions and sales to ensure that they meet defined criteria.
- Develop pro forma financials on both a pre-tax and after-tax basis.
- Gather and evaluate economic, demographic, and real estate market data.
- Ensure that pricing is appropriate within the context of the prevailing market.
- Prepare Introduction and Investment Committees materials.
- Review legal documents and other materials as part of the due diligence process.
- Frequent property inspections.
- Collaborate with Research teams to ensure that target markets are considered when evaluating potential locations and themes for new investments.
- Continually monitor conditions within local markets to have a framework from which to evaluate new investments.
- Liaise with relevant colleagues and coordinate external service providers.
- Active and efficient dialogue with Fund Managers about required investment products.
Requirements
- Proven experience and expertise in real estate markets and acquisitions.
- Ability to build strong internal and external networks.
- Understanding of complex investment fundamentals of each individual transaction and the underlying sectors/assets.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team within an international environment.
- Ability to contribute successfully and efficiently to closing deals.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Excellent PC skills.
- University degree with a strong academic record and up to 3 years' experience preferably in a Real Estate Company or in a finance related sector.
- Fluent in English and French (spoken and written).
- Experience in Valuation would be a plus.
