Job Description

At Actia Automotive, we are revolutionizing the way we design, produce, and implement augmented electronic products and solutions for sustainable mobility. We are seeking a talented leader to join our team as a Software Factory Group Manager.

About the Role

We are looking for a leader who can guide our teams on this journey and build a roadmap to meet business expectations while ensuring delivery of current projects. The successful candidate will lead and manage the off-board software development team, including software engineers, architects, and group leaders, to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the off-board software development team to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
  • Steer the operation of cloud technologies and best practices for scalable and resilient software architectures.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices and principles throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring security, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
  • Foster an agile culture within the team, promoting collaboration, flexibility, and adaptability to change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in software engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a software development leadership role, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
  • Expertise in cloud solutions, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud-native applications.
  • Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices, including data modeling, database design, and data integration.
  • Solid knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Scrum or SaFe, and experience implementing these methodologies in real life.
  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and security testing.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellence.
