Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect to join our team at Murex. As a key member of our Architecture Domain, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our platform and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Main Contact to the client design board in charge of major cross-business and technology design decisions
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure smooth delivery on all projects, extensions by sharing insights, knowledge, and understanding of the client's strengths and expertise
  • Seek collaborative opportunities, both internally and externally, identifying occasions to enhance a project by working across teams at Murex
  • Define test and migration strategy with optimal coverage of functional & technical components
  • Assess Production instance quality in collaboration with Product champions/community of experts and Production managers to contribute to CET plan strategies
  • Contribute to presales activities
About the Role

As a Functional Architect, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical leadership and expertise to cross-functional teams
  • Developing and maintaining technical architectures and designs
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to identify business requirements and develop solutions
  • Ensuring alignment with company-wide architecture and technology strategies
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of experience as a Solution Architect
  • Confirmed stream lead experience
  • Project methodologies: MXpress, Agile, CI/CD
  • Strong background in business, finance, and software development
  • Knowledge and proven experience in capital markets software for trading, risk management, processing, or consulting
  • Broad experience on complex implementations
  • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical abilities to understand complex issues and be able to either dive into details with experts or summarize for non-experts
  • Ability to work outside of their comfort zone, to foresee challenges and dependencies
  • Capability to identify trends and recommend a course of action to resolve/improve/enhance the usage of our solution
  • Ability to manage complex client relationships and to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
