We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Controls Assurance Specialist to join our team at Publicis Groupe.
About the Role
This is a key position within our organization, responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of our financial controls across Europe entities in all Publicis practices. You will work closely with our Financial Monitoring Controls Director - EMEA to develop and implement audit plans, conduct on-site testing, and identify control exceptions and deficiencies.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive audit plans to test finance processes and controls
- Identify and assess control exceptions and deficiencies, including related risk assessment
- Presentation and agreement of action plans with local management for remediation of control deficiencies
- Prepare reports detailing deficiencies and recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of assigned work
- Communicate latest Groupe guidelines and best practices to CFOs and provide training/induction to new agencies
- Support the FMC team in drafting and reviewing audit tools and Best Practices guidelines
- Perform other ad-hoc finance-related projects as required
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Audit (external and/or internal) with Big 4 experience
- The ability to speak and write clearly and fluently in English
- Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and audit techniques
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Experience in advertising and/or media (preferable but not required)
- Qualified Chartered Accountant or other Audit/Accounting certification (preferable but not required)

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Persistent and diligent in following through projects to closure
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proactive with abundant energy and drive
- Prepared to spend 30-40% of time travelling throughout EMEA
