Position Overview:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high standards of equipment functionality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prioritize maintenance tasks based on production needs and urgent situations, ensuring a prompt response to operational requests.
  • Plan, organize, and execute maintenance interventions effectively.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify faults, performing operational tests to determine the underlying causes of equipment failures.
  • Carry out repairs and replacements of defective components, manage spare parts inventory, and report any shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and verify that machinery operates correctly post-repair.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace following maintenance activities.
  • Document all maintenance activities and production logs in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Update technical documentation as required to reflect changes and improvements.
  • Engage in new construction projects and ongoing facility maintenance.
  • Suggest technical enhancements to boost the maintainability and reliability of production equipment.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to avert potential issues.
  • Be available for on-call duties as necessary.
  • Support and oversee external maintenance contractors when required.
  • Communicate any production interruptions or machinery issues to management promptly.
  • Relay instructions and priorities to ensure seamless transitions between shifts.

Candidate Profile:

- In-depth knowledge of various maintenance disciplines, including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation systems.

- Proficient in the operation of CMMS.

- Essential skills include: Responsiveness, Attention to Detail, Analytical Skills, Initiative, Independence, and Team Collaboration.

- A degree in maintenance or a related field with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

- Possession of low and high voltage electrical certifications is required.
