We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Economist to join our Renewable Energy team at Total Deutschland GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing economic and financial modeling expertise to support our renewable energy business.
Key Responsibilities- Economic and Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain economic and financial models to support our renewable energy business, including data collection, economic valuation, and financial statement analysis.
- Macro-Region Analysis: Conduct analysis of macro-regions to identify opportunities and challenges for our renewable energy business.
- Team Leadership: Lead and supervise junior members of the team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Structured Finance, Asset Management, and Financial Performance, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Master's Degree in Economics or Finance: A master's degree in economics or finance is required, with a strong background in economic and financial modeling.
- Experience in Renewable Energy: At least 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a strong understanding of economic and financial modeling.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and strong scripting and programming skills, with experience in VBA and other programming languages.
