Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior ICT Security Test Specialist to join our Cyber Security Operations sector in the area of freedom, security, and justice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and preparing security configuration and operations standards and procedures for security systems and applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Definition and preparation of security configuration and operations standards and procedures for security systems and applications
- Support for the validation and review of baseline security configurations and benchmarks
- Supporting the execution of internal and external technical control and vulnerability assessments and security audits
- Supporting the execution of network and application penetration tests
- Supporting the execution of source code reviews
- Supporting security monitoring and incident response
- Supporting security engineering activities
- Supporting the design and implementation of technical security mechanisms and technologies.
Requirements
- Master's degree or 4 years of University education;
- Minimum 6 years of IT security experience;
- Security best practice guidelines (ISO 27001, NIST, SANS Top 20 OWASP, etc.);
- Good practice in the secure configuration of servers, network devices, and applications;
- Networking protocols and application communications;
- Network analysis tools;
- Securing Unix and Windows operating systems;
- Network penetration testing;
- Web application penetration testing;
- Vulnerability assessments and security audits experience;
- Relevant certifications in the area of cyber security (ex. CISM, CISA, etc.);
- Knowledge of cyber security policies and standards deriving from the European Institutions.
Please note that Security Clearance will be required after starting the project.
