Internship Objective:
The primary goal of this internship is to support the ESG Emerging Market analyst in establishing a comprehensive strategy for advancing ESG topics within emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Your main duties will include:
- ESG Analysis: Assess the ESG performance of companies in Emerging Markets utilizing Candriam's proprietary ESG evaluation framework.
- Engagement & Voting: Engage in stewardship activities, including analyzing shareholder meeting resolutions, conducting meetings and discussions with portfolio companies, and developing new engagement themes to enhance transparency and drive change on various ESG issues in emerging markets.
- Ad hoc Projects: Contribute to the development of ESG data for companies in emerging markets, including specific screenings for SFDR such as SI contributions, sectoral ESG risks, etc.
Candidate Profile:
- Previous experience in sustainable development issues and/or emerging markets is preferred.
- Proficiency in data processing applications (Excel, PowerBI, etc.) is advantageous.
- Strong interest in sustainable development within emerging markets.
- Analytical mindset with a curiosity to learn.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
Location: Europe, France
Candidate Criteria:
- Minimum Education Level: Master's Degree II or MBA / Bac +5
Minimum Experience Level: Less than 2 years
Languages:
- English (C1 - Fluent)
- French (C1 - Fluent)
