About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Order Management System team at Amadeus. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop core components of the Order Management System, including the core order system, integration with NDC layer, and interactions with other suites.
  • Work on state-of-the-art technologies and concepts, including Skube SDK, Quarkus, Java microservices, Kafka streaming technology, and cloud native development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Technical Business Analysts, Quality Assurance, and Global Operations, to create and develop high-quality code.
  • Troubleshoot and investigate defects raised by customers, and debug efficiently to ensure compliance with specifications and system integrity.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Fluent English required.
  • Experience in Agile methodology.
  • Customer focus, dynamic/creative way of working.
  • Flexibility, adaptability to fast-changing business and technical environment.
  • Team player, multicultural approach, eager to learn from others and share knowledge.
  • Good written and oral communication abilities.
Preferred Skills
  • Java and Python programming languages.
  • Kafka and streaming concepts knowledge.
  • Cloud computing experience, including virtualization, containers, and cloud native architectures.
  • MongoDB experience.
  • DIH/Pulse experience.
