About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution & Project Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at the KION Group. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our projects and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage quality within our EMEA projects, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and Dematic guidelines and standards.
  • Apply, monitor, and report quality and continuous improvement initiatives, driving quality gates to prevent, avoid, and detect project execution risks.
  • Facilitate discussions and drive resolution on project quality-related issues.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings regarding non-conformance, ensuring speed and rigor in corrective actions.
  • Drive document control systems for all quality data and ensure corrective measures are enacted for noncompliance.
  • Conduct and participate in local quality audits, interpret findings, and manage corrective actions.
  • Support the identification and mitigation of risks within pre-flight, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of quality standards and best practices throughout project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline, with adequate vocational technical training in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality or project execution functions in a project-based business within logistics, automotive, aviation, or other related industries.
  • Proven ability to write and produce technical reports and oversee internal and external quality audits.
  • Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and expertise in quality management.
  • Leader and team player with conflict resilience, 'right-first-time' mentality.
  • Proven skills in quality improvement techniques and risk management (i.e., Six Sigma, FMEA).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong capabilities in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Data-driven and familiarity with Power BI and/or other data capturing tools.
  • Fluent in English and German languages, with Italian, Spanish, and French language skills considered beneficial.
