Job Title: Accounting Expert

Join our team at Evotec as an Accounting Expert and take on a challenging role in our Global Accounting team.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Accounting Expert to join our Technical Accounting & Accounting Policies team. As an Accounting Expert, you will be responsible for analyzing complex accounting topics, transactions, and contracts, as well as providing technical accounting guidance to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis of technical and complex accounting topics, complex transactions, and contracts
  • Answer technical accounting questions to various stakeholders
  • Monitoring of accounting and reporting updates and implementation of new standards and regulations
  • Preparation and update of the Group's Accounting Policies
  • Monitoring and enforcement of the Policies within the Group
  • Preparation of internal training materials
  • Participation in the external reporting process and ensuring compliance with the regulator's guidelines
Requirements

We are looking for a highly experienced Accounting Expert with a minimum of 6 years of experience in an IFRS context. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to interact with various stakeholders and explain complex accounting issues.

Experience of working in an international environment, ideally in Pharma/Biotech, is highly desirable. Fluency in English is required, and German, Italian, or another European language is a plus.
