Join Our Team as a Software Specification Engineer M/F

Become a vital part of our Engineering Division by joining the Systems Design Group in France, which is responsible for launcher system engineering.
As a Software Specification Engineer M/F, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the development team leader to contribute to the software development strategy and necessary adjustments.
  • Creating and managing software specification documents under your guidance.
  • Overseeing the implementation phases, including verification within the software team.
  • Participating in the review of test documents produced by the software development team.
  • Validating the correct implementation of requirements and ensuring software maturity.
  • Analyzing technical software issues, leading investigations, and planning corrections with the software, engineering, and testing teams.
  • Working with testing teams to draft test plans for system or subsystem validation phases related to software.

You should hold a degree in General Engineering or a related field, preferably with a software background, and possess significant experience in C2 systems. Knowledge in the following areas is essential:
- Architecture of weapon systems
- Principles of system engineering and associated tools.
- Software development life cycles.
- Electronic architectures.

Proficiency in model-based engineering methods (SysML, MBSE) and engineering tools such as DOORS for requirements traceability is required. Essential skills include autonomy, technical rigor, strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and reporting abilities. Proficiency in English is mandatory.
