Job Description:

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a Solution Architect (f/m) to join the End-to-End PLM Domain in Marignane, France.

You will be part of a team developing CAD/PDM/PLM products, with a focus on PLM deployment projects aiming at digital transformation of the company.

Your challenges:

  • Participate in a global Digital Transformation Program at Company level.
  • Take a key position of Solution Architect in the E2E PLM Domain.
  • Understand Business roadmap and project the application landscape of the domain.
  • Serve as an intermediary between technical teams and functional teams.
  • Define target technical architecture of the applications.
  • Document existing domain software architecture and interface with Enterprise Architecture.
  • Ensure the correct implementation of the architectures designed in regards of Company principles.
  • Adapt the architectures designed to the final users constraints (Performances, SLA).
  • Support transformation projects teams in the definition of the software and infrastructure architecture.
  • Take part of the Architecture transverse community and raise transverse opportunities to maintain continuity across Airbus Group.

Your profile:

  • Proven experience in the domain.
  • Solution architecture experience: business requirements analysis, architecture definition, architecture languages, and application portfolio management.
  • Technical expertise: tools, frameworks, regulations.
  • Knowledge in technical infrastructure: databases, servers, network...
  • Knowledge in code programming: SQL, Java, C++, web...
  • Knowledge in PLM and CAD software: 3D Experience, Windchill, CATIA V5, VPM...
  • Data Classification and Regulations knowledge (Military, Export Control) are appreciated.

This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
