Position Title: Intergenerational Outreach Volunteer

SC2S Normandie is a dedicated organization focused on providing meaningful Service Civique opportunities. We aim to tackle significant challenges related to aging while promoting community engagement among youth.

Role Overview:

Objective:

As a Service Civique volunteer, your mission is to alleviate social isolation faced by elderly and vulnerable populations through regular interactions and organized group activities. You will take charge of planning and facilitating intergenerational events and workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute intergenerational events and activities
• Collaborate with community partners to connect with school-aged children and homeless individuals
• Assist seniors in enhancing their digital skills
• Support cultural excursions
• Conduct friendly visits to seniors' homes

Creative Contribution:

You are encouraged to bring forth innovative ideas to broaden the impact of your role.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Open to individuals aged 18 and above
• Commitment of 24-30 hours weekly
• Target Beneficiaries: Children, teenagers, seniors, and marginalized or at-risk individuals

Training and Guidance:

You will engage in the SC2S training program to acquire essential skills for working with seniors. A dedicated mentor will be available to support you throughout your service.
