Finance Control Trainee (m/f/d)Position Overview:
We are looking for a Finance Control Trainee (m/f/d) to support our financial operations. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the finance sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Month-End Closing: Collaborate with the accounting team on invoice processing and account reconciliations; manage accrual bookings and reporting; analyze discrepancies between actual results and forecasts.
- Monthly Forecasting: Prepare accruals in coordination with engineering expenditures, collaborate with the sales team on sales forecasts, develop reporting templates, and clarify variations from previous forecasts.
- Budgeting: Organize cost planning in line with engineering expenses and group allocations; assist in preparing budget templates and entering data into financial systems; ensure data consistency between engineering and finance systems.
- Financial Data Preparation: Prepare non-labor templates and reconcile financial data with engineering system outputs.
- Accounts Receivable Reporting: Generate weekly reports on accounts receivable.
- Asset Management: Conduct fixed asset evaluations and depreciation analyses.
- Support Role: Act as a backup for the Financial Controller during their absence.
Candidate Profile:
- Currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of a University or Business School with a focus on Finance.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a multicultural setting.
- Proficient in Excel (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP); familiarity with Macros is advantageous.
- Comfortable with new IT systems; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
