Job Opportunity:

Dassault Systèmes is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Solidworks Graphics Application development team.

About the Role:

You will collaborate closely with Product Definition, User Experience, Quality Assurance, and expert team members to understand and define the scope of development and push the software limits of what is technically possible with today's graphics hardware, in terms of performance and visual accuracy/aesthetic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance, maintain, and develop new functionalities in the area of 3D real-time interactive rendering for our Solidworks mechanical design software.
  • Work individually and as part of a team to achieve goals and meet milestones.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot software algorithms as part of a complex system.
  • Develop and maintain software using modern C++ programming, including STL, and have a deep understanding of the OpenGL v4 API and GLSL shader language.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in graphics development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
  • 6-7 years of experience in a graphics development position.
  • Preferable background in CAD, gaming, or scientific visualization.
  • Proficiency in modern C++ programming, including STL.
  • Deep understanding of the OpenGL v4 API and GLSL shader language.
  • Knowledge of Vulkan/DX12 and CAD is a plus.
  • Experience with GIT source control and familiarity with Windows development environment (Visual Studio IDE/C++) is required.
