Job Description:
The Microwave Circuit Design Engineer will be an integral part of our MMIC Design Team. The successful candidate will be tasked with the design of innovative Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuits (MMIC) utilizing the PHEMT, MHEMT, or GaN Process Design Kits (PDKs).
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop cutting-edge MMICs based on electrical specifications, adhering to established procedures.
- Create detailed reports for each stage of the design process.
- Analyze prototype test data and implement design adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain oversight of the design timeline.
- Collaborate with the application team in the development of evaluation boards.
- Engage frequently with PDK, Test, and Application Teams.
Experience and Competencies:
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience in high-frequency analog circuit design.
- Solid understanding of fundamental electronics (RF, analog).
- Proficient in technical discussions in English.
- Familiarity with MS Excel.
- General knowledge of MS Windows operating systems.
- Proficient in microwave design software such as Keysight ADS or Cadence AWR.
- Strong knowledge of electromagnetic simulation tools, including Momentum, HFSS, or Axiem.
- Meticulous attention to detail and precision.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in French.
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate in Engineering, preferably in circuit design and microwave fields.
