Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Patent Engineer to join our team at HITACHI ASTEMO FRANCE S.A.S. in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for accompanying the widening of Intellectual Property activity toward Europe Region and supporting activity for BRBU outside Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and reviewing drafts of patent applications.
- Participating in monitoring the patent examination processes.
- Searching into patent databases for consultations and competition monitoring.
- Animating the network of Patent Partners with R&D teams.
Work Relations:
- Works within the Intellectual Property Department Europe (IPD-EU).
- Cooperating with inventors.
- Cooperating with R&D and CLO teams.
- Cooperates with lawyers of Legal Europe and BRBU.
Requirements:
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of automotive braking technology.
- Understanding of patent law.
Qualifications:
- Engineering degree Bac+5.
- First technical and/or legal experience in the automotive field.
