Your Profile:
You aspire to make a significant impact by aligning with our mission to be the most reliable partner for GEO-LEO global satellite connectivity, ultimately bridging the digital divide.
You will operate within the Group Cybersecurity division, reporting to the Group CISO and guided by the Principal Security Architect. Your role will involve effectively communicating security architecture principles across diverse teams engaged in ICT, satellite engineering, and operations within a global framework. You will serve as a Security Architecture Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding various sectors to ensure compliance with different security standards and frameworks in alignment with Group policies.
Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units to develop and ensure security architecture frameworks that support operational and engineering teams in accordance with group policies.
- Implement appropriate technical security measures for systems, cloud services, and business segments.
- Provide independent security guidance to operational, engineering, and design teams to safeguard systems and data in both cloud and hybrid environments.
- Evaluate cloud and hybrid service deployment models for risks, technical requirements, procedural needs, and governance controls.
- Establish a consistent and repeatable architectural delivery framework.
- Offer architectural security expertise for business initiatives utilizing agile, DevOps, and Continuous Integration/Development/Testing methodologies.
- Identify, document, and assist in managing risks related to regulatory and security compliance based on enterprise needs.
- Present findings to internal governance forums or senior management to ensure comprehensive cybersecurity risk management throughout projects and services.
Qualifications:
- Certification in systems architecture, cloud security, or a related field (e.g., TOGAF).
- Proven experience of 10-15 years in implementing security design principles for applications, networks, and infrastructure, including:
- Understanding of global business requirements
- Experience with large enterprise needs involving cloud or hybrid architecture
- Familiarity with established security frameworks, such as ISO27001/2005, NIST800-53 Rev 5, NIS1, CMMC
- Leadership experience in managing teams on complex projects
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying messages at all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously while recognizing when to seek guidance.
- Effective prioritization of workloads and management of deadlines.
- Negotiation skills for making cost and risk-based decisions.
- Organizational and coordination skills for leading technical team efforts.
- Expertise in incident response related to delivered architectures for both security and business continuity.
Preferred Attributes:
- Fluency in English is essential.
- A collaborative mindset - you will be a key resource for the CISO group as the subject matter expert.
- Experience in the telecommunications sector (TelCo) is advantageous.
- Certifications such as CISSP, ISO 27001, or ISO 27005 are beneficial.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain French government security clearance.
Location: Office-based role with some travel required to fulfill responsibilities.
