Your Role as a Java Backend Engineer

As a Java Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our robust backend systems. You will collaborate closely with a talented team of engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that power our innovative payment technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze project requirements, both functional and technical, to ensure a clear understanding of the desired outcomes.
• Design software architecture, defining the structure and relationships between components to create scalable and maintainable systems.
• Develop data models and database schemas as needed, ensuring data integrity and efficient storage.
• Propose technical solutions that align with project constraints and best practices.
• Write high-quality code in Java, adhering to established coding standards and promoting code readability and maintainability.
• Implement features according to project specifications, ensuring they meet the defined requirements and functionality.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure seamless integration of components and a cohesive software solution.
• Create comprehensive unit, integration, and system test scenarios to validate the functionality and robustness of the developed code.
• Execute tests rigorously to identify and resolve any bugs or defects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
• Provide ongoing operational support for components after deployment, addressing any issues that may arise and implementing necessary patches.
• Offer technical support to end users and operational teams, resolving queries and providing guidance on system functionality.

Your Profile:

• A university or engineering degree in computer science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in Java development, demonstrating proficiency in object-oriented programming principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable tasks.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork and knowledge sharing within a dynamic environment.
