At ArcelorMittal, we're seeking a highly skilled HPC Engineer to join our team at the Maizières-Lès-Metz R&D site. As a key member of our IT department, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance computing clusters tailored to the specific needs of our researchers.

• Plan and design HPC clusters to meet the needs of our researchers
• Select and implement the most appropriate hardware and software components
• Optimize applications for performance on HPC architectures
• Maintain and upgrade infrastructure, including management of backups and security
• Provide user support and training
• Manage performance and implement monitoring tools
• Perform technological watch on the latest advancements in HPC

• Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in computer science or related field
• Significant experience in Linux/Unix system administration
• Strong knowledge of HPC tools and libraries
• Ability to manage cluster systems and knowledge of processor architectures and high-performance networks
