Coty is seeking a highly skilled Manager Packaging Development to lead the development of innovative packaging solutions for our beauty products. As a key member of our R&D Packaging team, you will be responsible for driving the design, development, and implementation of packaging solutions that meet our brand's high standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development of packaging solutions that meet our brand's aesthetic and functional requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, R&D Formula, and Procurement, to ensure packaging solutions meet business objectives.
- Develop and implement packaging solutions that are sustainable, cost-effective, and meet regulatory requirements.
- Manage and prioritize packaging development projects to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and communicate risks and issues to stakeholders.
- Establish homologation plans and conduct testing to validate packaging solutions.
- Master's degree in sciences (packaging, chemistry, mechanical engineering, or other relevant discipline).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical packaging roles, preferably in the beauty industry.
- Proven track record of leading new packaging development from design phase to in-market delivery.
- Strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and ability to evaluate and approve technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and French languages, with near-native level proficiency.
