Mechanical Development Engineer

At ARaymond Network, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Development Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Development Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new components, assemblies, and processes. You will work on advanced development projects with a potential network-wide reach, applying primarily your mechanical skills, collaborating in projects involving multi-physics and/or mechatronics.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop new components, assemblies, and processes
- Assemble demonstrators, prototypes, test setups, and operate required equipment
- Contribute to 5S and quality initiatives
- Contribute to the technical validation of demonstrators and prototypes
- Document the progress of developments and related test results
- Participate in team solution finding and creative brainstorming sessions
- Contribute to knowledge build-up and transfer of expertise within the company and ARaymond Network
- State-certified Technician or Bachelor's degree in a related field of engineering
- Experience of 2 to 3 years in a related industrial environment preferred
- Technical apprenticeship or proven hands-on skills appreciated
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Proficiency in utilization of 3D CAD Software. Preferably PTC Creo
- Proficiency in testing, prototyping, and basic metrology methodologies
- Proficiency in using power and hand tools
- Familiar with plastic and metal processing technologies
- Good communication skills
- Basic electrical and programming skills appreciated
- Know-how in agile development methods appreciated

- Eagerness to learn and self-teach
- Ability to work with international teams
- Ability to travel locally and internationally as required
Fluent in English; French and/or German appreciated.
