Job Overview:Specialization/Job: Mechanics - Naval Assembly TechnicianEmployment Type: Permanent position - Mechanical Assembly Technician (M/F)The Naval Group facility is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician for the Submarine Engine Module. In this capacity, your primary responsibilities will encompass:
- Conducting maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and assembly of diverse mechanical components and systems while adhering to specified standards and tolerances.
- Engaging in technical assessments, performing inspections, and preparing for interventions (such as purging and draining).
- Executing assembly and disassembly tasks (including fluid connections), maintenance, repairs, modifications, and adjustments of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
- Taking precise measurements and making necessary adjustments: scraping, filing, honing, boring, grinding, threading, tracing, and basic machining.
- Carrying out controls, calibrations, alignments, adjustments, and necessary settings, while documenting technical records and self-inspection reports.
- Establishing connections for electromechanical equipment (including rotating machinery).
- Performing hydraulic resistance tests, as well as free outlet and sealing tests.
- Participating in operational testing of equipment (mechanical and electrical) and installations in the workshop and/or onboard vessels.
