The Investment Cycle Specialist will be responsible for conducting market research, supporting transaction execution, managing investments, and contributing to team development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis:
o Conducting in-depth market research across the energy transition/infrastructure sector
o Monitoring market trends, opportunities, and risks to provide regular updates to the team

  • Transaction Support:
o Assessing the relevance of investment opportunities in the energy transition sector
o Conducting and reviewing due diligence work performed by third-party advisers on target companies
o Reviewing and challenging business plans, developing a deep understanding of the regulatory/market environment, carrying out risk assessments
o Building and/or managing complex financial models to evaluate investment opportunities
o Preparing investment memoranda to present and recommend investment opportunities to the investment committee

  • Investment Management:
o Monitoring the operational and financial performance of portfolio companies
o Participating in board meetings with management of portfolio companies
o Identifying and helping implement optimization and/or growth initiatives for portfolio companies
o Performing valuation reviews of portfolio companies on a periodic basis

  • Team Collaboration:
o Participating in and contributing to weekly team meetings, investment committee meetings, valuation committee meetings
o Developing new and cultivating existing network of industry contacts to improve access to information for the team
o Recruiting and supervising interns
