About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Knauf Industries. As a Maintenance Technician - Extrusion Line Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our extrusion lines, performing preventive maintenance tasks, and resolving any technical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the optimal functioning of our extrusion lines, identifying and addressing any potential issues before they become major problems.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair work on extrusion equipment, using your technical expertise to resolve complex issues.
• Collaborate with our production team to minimize downtime and ensure seamless production operations.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest maintenance techniques and technologies, applying your knowledge to improve our operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or maintenance technology.
• At least 2 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of extrusion equipment and processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
