About the Job:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Logistics Buyer to join our team in Chateaubriant. As a Logistics Buyer, you will be responsible for optimizing and managing purchases and logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Treating purchase requests within your scope: creating price requests, negotiating prices and delivery terms with suppliers, and tracking orders until delivery.
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, adhering to productivity, delivery, safety, and quality standards: receiving goods, managing stock levels, and performing inventory control.
- Organizing transportation and logistics: coordinating loading and unloading of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations, and handling administrative tasks.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field (BTS or DUT with a specialization in logistics and/or stock management).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success.
