Job Description: Agricultural Equipment Technician
As an Agricultural Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing agricultural machinery. Your expertise will ensure that our customers' equipment operates efficiently and reliably.
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of agricultural equipment to diagnose issues accurately.
- Utilize manufacturer parts breakdowns to order the necessary components for repairs.
- Collaborate with the workshop manager to develop comprehensive repair quotes for customers.
- Execute repairs and restorations on a wide range of agricultural machinery, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Document all repairs performed, including parts used, for accurate record-keeping.
- Conduct machine setup and testing at our dealership or on-site at customer locations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Solid understanding of basic 12-volt circuits, hydraulic systems, and engine mechanics.
- Knowledge of gearbox systems and proficiency in diagnostic software.
- A quick learner with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and repair techniques.
