Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Camp Director to lead our summer camp for children with mental disabilities. This role requires a commitment of six days a week, ensuring the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of all campers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily camp activities, ensuring a structured and engaging environment for campers.
- Supervise and mentor a team of camp counselors, providing guidance and support.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that cater to the diverse needs of campers.
- Maintain a safe and inclusive camp environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper progress and any concerns.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in group management and leadership, particularly with children with disabilities.
- Certification in camp management or a related field is preferred.
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license.
Compensation
Competitive daily compensation of €58 plus bonuses based on performance.
