Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer-Security Automation

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Development Engineer to join our Amazon Security team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated security automation systems using modern software development practices and technologies such as AWS services, Python, and data engineering tools.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement security automation systems using modern software development practices and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security automation projects.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality software systems using Python, AWS services, and data engineering tools.
  • Mentor junior developers and lead technical projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience in professional software development.
  • Programming experience with Python, Java, or TypeScript.
  • Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Experience developing using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Highly proficient in both spoken and written English.
