Cabinet ALTERNEGO is seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures that support our open data territorial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pilot technical and technological choices for our data platform
  • Propose major solution evolutions
  • Industrialize, test, and deploy solutions
  • Maintain the data platform at the forefront of best practices in the data domain
  • Ensure the maintenance of the solution in operational conditions, including migrations and version updates
  • Identify technical partners to improve our value proposition
  • Accompany sales teams in pre-sales activities to explain the product, qualify and quantify needs, and provide cost estimates
  • Challenge suppliers and subcontractors in the development of our products
  • Provide technical support to clients once deals are engaged
Requirements
  • Excellent understanding of data architecture concepts
  • Advanced knowledge of data architectures, cloud architectures, and open-source software in the relevant domains
  • Ability to take a step back to find the best technical solution
  • Mastering of query languages and relational databases
  • Experience with data modeling tools
  • Advanced knowledge of data integration and migration techniques
  • Knowledge of data security concepts
  • Understanding of data governance principles and regulatory compliance
  • Mastering of data storage solutions
  • Proficiency in virtualization, containerization, systems (Linux, Windows), networking, SQL databases, scripting, scheduling, packaging, and CI/CD
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, with a specialization in data being a plus
  • Significant professional experience as a data architect (at least 8 years) and ideally in the software publishing industry
  • Certification in relevant data technologies is a plus
  • Rigour, concision, openness, and humility
  • Coaching, transmission, and communication skills
