Position Overview:

As an Industrial Purchasing Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of key functions within the procurement process. Your primary duties will include:

  • Overseeing budget allocations for product innovation and capital expenditures,
  • Managing purchase order requests generated from the ERP system, ensuring timely conversion into formal purchase orders after verifying timelines and quantities,
  • Preparing comprehensive purchasing documentation for assigned procurement tasks (RFQ/negotiations),
  • Soliciting pricing information from suppliers for new and non-assigned products,
  • Tracking the status of procurement documents and pricing inquiries,
  • Monitoring order fulfillment, ensuring acknowledgment of receipt is recorded,
  • Coordinating logistics and transportation arrangements,
  • Addressing discrepancies in deliveries and invoices,
  • Implementing penalties for late deliveries,
  • Reporting on daily discrepancies and potential risks identified.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bac +3 degree in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, along with at least three years of relevant experience in a comparable position.

Fluency in English is essential, particularly in an international business environment. Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to persuade and negotiate effectively are crucial for success in this role. A proactive approach to suggesting internal enhancements is also expected.
