Job Title: Sociolinguistic Educator

Position Type: Full-time within the Department of Active Citizenship and Community Engagement

This position is dedicated to supporting individuals in their journey to learn the French language, navigate socio-health structures, and achieve professional integration, thereby fostering their independence and social inclusion. The primary responsibility is to conduct sociolinguistic workshops tailored for diverse allophone groups across various community centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting engaging sociolinguistic workshops
• Designing and organizing educational materials
• Creating appropriate learning resources
• Involvement in social integration initiatives
• Documenting session outcomes and participating in review meetings

Essential Skills and Attributes:

Proficiency in active and participatory teaching methodologies, knowledge of French as a Foreign Language, insight into community dynamics, experience with migrant populations, project management capabilities, excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
