Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning and Business Analyst to join our team at Edwards Lifesciences Gruppe. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance, analysis, and reporting to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide financial advice and guidance to business leaders, analyzing complex financial data to identify trends and issues.
  • Develop and update quarterly forecasts and budgets, working closely with business leaders to ensure accurate projections.
  • Prepare and process month-end journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and generate reports to support trend analysis.
  • Collaborate with business departments to monitor complex and high-volume SGP percentage on products and customer level.
  • Respond to complex questions and resolve issues from tax advisors and fiscal authorities/entities, handling audit requests with discretion.
  • Train, coach, and provide feedback to lower-level team members on work tasks.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or locally recognized degree/certification.
  • Experience in accounting, forecasting, planning, or expense analysis, preferably in an international company.
  • Professional proficiency in English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel and related financial systems, with experience in JDE, Oracle, or SAP preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills, including consultative and relationship management skills.
  • Substantial knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures, and guidelines relevant to accounting.
  • Good understanding of cost accounting processes and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
