Operations Quality Control Technician

Job Summary:
Hermès Parfums is seeking a Quality Operations Technician to join its industrial site in Vaudreuil (27). As a key member of the Quality Department, this role will support the Quality Operations Manager in ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Main Responsibilities:
- Release finished products, including reviewing lot files, handling incidents, and assisting with change deployments.
- Ensure the accuracy and approval of documentation within the quality perimeter.
- Animate the routine monitoring of activities within and between services.
- Participate in cross-site projects.
Key Dimensions:
- Direct relationships with other Quality Department services (Quality Suppliers and Quality Control).
- Direct relationships with the Production Department.
- Direct relationships with the Supply Chain and Planning Department.
- Direct relationships with the Methods and Continuous Improvement Department.
- Direct relationships with the Packaging Development Department.
- Direct relationships with the Research and Development Department.
- Direct relationships with the Purchasing Department.
External Relationships:
- Direct relationships with suppliers.
Main Activities:
- Release bases, juices, and waste.
- Review lot files (cosmetics and alcoholic beverages) in accordance with BPF requirements.
- Participate in the treatment of production incidents (impact analysis, action plan, etc.) and assist production teams in resolving issues.
- Manage the follow-up and resolution of events (analysis, supplier complaint, associated action plan, etc.).
- Assist production teams in resolving issues detected during controls and self-controls.
- Approve quality documentation issued by production.
- Accompany and train production staff.
- Manage the archiving of lot files and the sample library.
Secondary Activities:
- Intervene in quality matters regarding change management within the production perimeter.
- Participate in the implementation of the quality approach within the Quality Department: Participate in change management, feed non-conformity indicator data.
- Participate in the execution of qualification/validation tests.
- Participate in cross-site projects.
Cross-Functional Activities:
- Respect hygiene, safety, environmental, and good manufacturing practices (GMP) rules, and encourage all personnel to respect them.
- Contribute to the optimization of posts and working environments in terms of hygiene, safety, environment, and ergonomics.
Profile:
Education and/or Professional Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably in the cosmetics industry.
Skills:
- Ability to use and demonstrate a required level of technical or methodological knowledge to achieve company objectives.
- Knowledge of BPF/ISO quality management standards (BPF ISO 22716, GMP CHINA).
- Master of written and oral communication.
- Knowledge of office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and an ERP.
