About the Role

The Head of Supply Chain will lead the Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics functions across finished goods and Visibility Items in Trade (VISIT). The successful candidate will be responsible for motivating and developing the Supply Chain team to provide world-class service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership

As a member of the Red Bull management team, the Head of Supply Chain will participate in and lead cross-company initiatives where required. They will contribute to and champion the operations mission statement and dashboard, working closely with the Operations Manager to design and implement the optimum operational platform.

Team Management

The Head of Supply Chain will motivate, train, and develop a team of 4 direct reports, ensuring full use of the Red Bull people tools. They will facilitate communication with all Red Bull stakeholders (internal, external & HQ) to understand their needs and support them in the most efficient way for the company.

Supply Chain Management

The Head of Supply Chain will manage the Supply chain with the immediate objectives of transparency, flexibility, sustainability, and efficiency with an End-to-End approach. They will ensure supply to the market with top-quality products (finished goods and visibility items) and service that reflects the premium brand of Red Bull, fostering a never-out-of-stock policy.

They will be responsible for standardizing and streamlining processes according to global standards, ensuring that the team works with transparent, efficient, and effective processes. The Head of Supply Chain will also be responsible for ensuring that the order-to-cash process for finished goods and VISIT is executed following HQ guidelines.

Customer Collaboration

The Head of Supply Chain will ensure a strong collaboration with our customers within an End-to-End approach (forecasts, logistics contracts, litigations, orders behavior, stocks, and on-shelf availability). They will work closely with the Logistics Manager to prepare the distribution budget and monitor all costs occurring in the operational area.

Cost Savings and Quality

The Head of Supply Chain will review and implement cost-saving initiatives and external benchmarking to ensure appropriate cost structures are in place. They will ensure that the quality standards defined through Red Bull HQ Quality are implemented and executed in the local organization.

About You

The successful candidate will have 8+ years of relevant experience across operational roles within an international supply chain. They will have a proven record of strategic business integration cross-functionally and high levels of personal energy, drive, resilience, and agility.

The Head of Supply Chain will have strong leadership skills and proven experience in motivating and leading teams. They will be entrepreneurial, with a 'can-do' attitude facilitated by continuous learning and the application of appropriate 'best practices'.

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of SAP R/3 or S/4 HANA, BI, and IBP, as well as excellent skills on all MS products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. They will be fluent in English and have a recommended proficiency in French.

The role will require travel of 10-20%.
