We are seeking a highly skilled Product Compliance and Certification Specialist to join our team at Atos SE. As a key member of our R&D Server Design department, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of our server components with international safety and EMC standards.
Key Responsibilities- Component Compliance: Collaborate with mechanical and electronic R&D teams to ensure that components used in our servers are compatible with applicable safety and EMC standards.
- Testing and Certification: Work with testing laboratories to organize test campaigns, consolidate test reports, and obtain product certifications.
- Technical Watch: Monitor international standards references for components and products applicable to our products.
- Documentation and Storage: Store and centralize all test reports, certificates, and self-declarations for servers developed by Atos.
- Compliance with European Directives: Assist R&D teams in their tasks related to compliance with European directives such as Ecodesign, Accessibility, and other applicable directives.
- Certification Management: Centralize the management of certifications associated with the applicable reference system.
- Normative Information Management: Define strategies and methods for filling in normative information components in the database.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in electronic engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an electric/electronic R&D position related to standards for obtaining product certifications.
- Knowledge of Electronic Components: Familiarity with electronic components such as power supplies, AC/DC converters, passive/active components, etc.
- EMC and Safety Standards: Knowledge of EMC and Safety standards such as IEC 62368, 61010, 60947, 61000-3-x, 61000-4-x.
- Testing Activities: Familiarity with testing activities on electric/electronic products.
- Certification and Regulatory Processes: Knowledge of certification and regulatory processes for servers/computers is a plus.
- Environmental Recommendations: Knowledge of environmental recommendations relating to hazardous substances, electronics, and their assembly (WEEE/ROHS/REACH) is a plus.
- CE Compliance Procedures: Knowledge of CE compliance procedures and European directives applicable to electric/electronic products is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills and ability to interact transversally with various internal and external interlocutors.
- Technical English: Good command of technical and normative English.
