Your Responsibilities:
As a Systems Engineer at Assystem, you will be pivotal in driving innovation, taking a leading role in the development and oversight of system and sub-system requirements. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the reliability and safety of our nuclear engineering initiatives, significantly influencing the industry's future.
Key Duties:
- Contribute to project delivery strategies, ensuring that objectives and milestones are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve efficient project results.
- Collect user requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Apply the Systems Engineering V model to direct project processes.
- Create stakeholder maps and effectively engage relevant parties.
- Utilize use cases to define system behavior and guide design choices.
- Implement the Plan Do Check Act (PDCA) cycle to oversee and enhance processes.

Experience:
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, processes, and methodologies.
- Expertise in validation and verification methodologies.
- Familiarity with the Systems Engineering V model and RAMI analysis techniques.
- Experience with requirement management tools such as DOORS.
- Knowledge of system integration and interface management.
- Proficiency in functional analysis methodologies like IDEF0.
- Experience in developing Operational Sequence Diagrams (OSDs).
Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master's degree is preferred.
Security Clearance:
Due to the nature of the work involved, applicants must meet specific residency criteria to achieve a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already cleared to at least SC level.
