Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, and maintenance of new features across our tech stack. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for architecting our backend codebase, creating user-friendly front-end features, and collaborating with ML engineers/data scientists to ensure seamless integration of our core libraries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership
    • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of new features across our tech stack (ReactJS FE and Python Flask BE).
    • Architect our backend codebase to be scalable and maintainable as we grow our customer base and expand our features (Python flask).
  • Front-end Development
    • Create user-friendly and visually appealing front-end features using React.
  • Collaboration and Technical Guidance
    • Collaborate closely with ML engineers/data scientists to ensure seamless integration of our core libraries.
    • Provide technical guidance and coaching to a team of software engineers - code reviews, removing obstacles and solving technical challenges.
  • Infrastructure and Security
    • Implement best practices across all code bases and work with the CTO to fine tune infrastructure, internal processes and security.
    • Explore and implement scalable architectural and infrastructure solutions to meet our business needs.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills
    • Must have: Experience with Python/flask and RESTful APIs.
    • Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux, and CSS.
    • Experience using Git (github), Jira, slack and figma as part of a full stack development workflow.
  • Soft Skills
    • Fluent English communication skills are necessary. Some of your team members only speak English.
    • Interest and ability to collaborate and be a leader by example on a team of engineers.
    • A product owner mindset, with a sharp focus on user experience and performance.
    • Proven ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative, ownership and commitment.
  • Experience
    • 7-10 years of experience as a full stack engineer with exposure to complex project environments.

  • Remote, with the possibility of weekly in an office space.
