About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Cartographer to join our team. As a Cartographer, you will work closely with our Regional Administrator and GIS specialists to optimize our Geographic Information System (GIS).

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the administration and evolution of our GIS system, including data import and export, and ensuring data quality.
• Assure the import of external data to feed our business tools.
• Export GIS data in accordance with our clients' technical specifications.
• Participate in the control of GIS data deliveries from our suppliers.
• Contribute to the deployment of our new national consultation tool for cartography.
• Harmonize GIS data across the region, following national orientations and group standards.
• Provide assistance to GIS specialists in the field.
• Contribute to the emergence of efficiency levers, innovation, and best practices.
• Produce data for reporting purposes.
• Identify and track specialized suppliers (geometers, developers, cartographers, etc.).
• Participate in projects to evolve or develop new tools.

Requirements

• You are seeking a 1-year or 2-year apprenticeship or professionalization contract to prepare for a Master's degree in Geomatics (e.g., SIGMA, SIGAT, GEOMAS, etc.).
• You are proactive, autonomous, and able to work in a team.
• You are rigorous, organized, and proficient in SQL.
• Knowledge of FME, model builder QGIS, and/or Python is an asset.
• Mastering Google Suite is an asset.
