Position: Mechanical Design Engineer for Industrial PME

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to become part of a dynamic team of engineers and designers within an industrial PME. The projects you will engage with are technically demanding and carry significant contractual implications. Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

  • Reviewing project specifications and associated documentation
  • Contributing to the initial design phase of equipment
  • Documenting assumptions for your engineering calculations
  • Calculating dimensions of equipment based on client requirements
  • Creating mechanical, seismic, and technical dimensioning reports
  • Participating in technical discussions to resolve client inquiries

Candidate Profile:

The successful applicant should possess a degree in mechanical engineering along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in calculations within a design environment. A thorough understanding of solid mechanics, material strength, and seismic design is essential. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English are mandatory. Familiarity with ANSYS or WORKBENCH software is required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Attractive fixed salary commensurate with experience
  • 13th-month salary distributed in two payments
  • 37-hour workweek across 4.5 days (with Friday afternoons off)
