About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Protection Incendie Specialist to join our team at Saint-Gobain Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and inspection of sprinkler systems at our production sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation and Maintenance of Sprinklers: Assist in the installation and commissioning of sprinkler systems in accordance with technical plans and specifications. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on sprinklers to ensure optimal functioning in case of a fire. Identify sprinkler networks at both sites and update factory plans.
- Inspections and Tests: Assist in conducting regular inspections of sprinkler systems to detect any malfunctions or defects. Participate in hydraulic tests and pressure tests of sprinklers in accordance with applicable standards.
- Documentation and Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of detailed inspection reports on the condition of sprinklers, including maintenance recommendations. Assist in managing technical documentation related to fire safety equipment installation and maintenance.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of mechanics and electrical engineering.
- Ability to follow technical instructions and work methodically.
- Good communication skills to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to respect safety standards and work procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in fire safety and motivation to learn in this specific field.
- Permit B
- BTS / Bac +2 License pro in industrial system maintenance / TMTSSI – Fire Safety System Maintenance Title
