Supply Chain Optimization Manager

At Atexo, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy and performing complex analytics and statistical modeling on large data sets to optimize supply chain operations workflow, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer strategies to optimize organizational capacity and support organizational business objectives.
- Collect data and prepare analyses forecasting demand or predicting inventory needs.
- Work with Excel data where the data being processed comes from multiple sources.
- Collaborate with leadership on identifying and implementing efficiency or performance improvements.
- Gather and interpret relevant data (costs, productivity, demand patterns, etc.).
- Investigate problems, find root causes, and develop solutions.
- Develop periodic performance reports and distribute them to stakeholders.
- Monitor performance KPIs for compliance and reporting.
- Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals.
- Coordinate updating daily, weekly, and monthly dashboards and scorecards.
- Manipulate and extrapolate Supply Chain Data.
- Own responsibility for identifying and tracking resource consumption.
- Analyze and make recommendations for inventory re-order points for shortages, overages, or other issues.
- Update weekly and ad-hoc reporting to ensure accuracy of inventory, costs, destination, or other customer needs.
- Partner with other Supply Chain team members and leadership to investigate problems and develop solutions to maintain an efficient supply chain.
- Own accountability for the management of two or more functions within the logistics remit and ensuring the required compliance and regulations of the organization are met including the management of and participation in audit processes including financial performance.
- Manage two or more logistics teams in terms of people management, including annual performance review, departmental staffing, employee discipline, and morale.
- Manage other managers or team leaders.
- Own responsibility for the identification, facilitation, and implementation of improvements to methods, procedures, and standards to improve the quality of output of logistics functions.
- Propose or control and facilitate organizational changes within the logistics function as required.
- Define training requirements for logistics teams and monitor training progress utilizing skills matrix to ensure teams are cross-trained to ensure flexibility according to business and function requirements.
- Own responsibility for leading and supporting team members' aspirations within the organization.
