Position OverviewAs a Machinist on Multi-Axis Lathes, your responsibilities will encompass:
- Assembling and fine-tuning clamping devices.
- Tool setup according to specified guidelines.
- Uploading and managing existing machining programs.
- Conducting initial quality checks during machine startup.
- Maintaining and documenting quality control and production metrics.
- Producing small batches with self-assessment.
- Adjusting programs and optimizing cutting parameters.
- Programming straightforward components or those similar to existing designs.
Work Schedule: Shifts are organized in a 2x8 format. Morning shift operates from early hours to midday, while the afternoon shift runs into the evening.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will possess expertise in:
- Interpreting technical drawings,
- Utilizing precision measurement tools,
- Understanding tool technology including cutting parameters and tool design,
- Basic principles of trigonometry,
- Familiarity with MAZAK machinery and Mazatrol programming.
