Job Title: Gerontological Coordinator

The Gerontological Coordinator will work in the Local Information and Coordination Center (CLIC), a social service providing assistance, information, orientation, and evaluation for people over 60 years old. The center covers specific cities and provides support to elderly individuals and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcoming, informing, advising, and guiding elderly people in situations of loss of autonomy, as well as their families
• Analyzing and evaluating individual situations based on requests and needs
• Developing an assistance plan to support aging in place, in coordination with other professionals in the sector, and ensuring the follow-up of this assistance plan
• Networking with local partners in the gerontology field (social, health, associative, etc.)
• Implementing and participating in initiatives to prevent loss of autonomy
• Contributing to local prevention programs (e.g., heatwave plan, thematic events)
• Combatting social isolation among the elderly
• Collecting and updating data on professional networks

Requirements:

Minimum high school diploma or relevant experience in the social sector, specifically with the elderly. Strong sense of service and support, knowledge of medical-social legislation and institutions, proficiency in IT tools and writing skills, ability to work in a team as well as independently, excellent communication skills, and discretion in professional matters.
