Position Overview: Advocate for Bullying Prevention in Educational Settings
Organization: Service Civique
The core mission of this Service Civique role is to actively engage in initiatives aimed at combating bullying within educational institutions. The Ministry of National Education and Youth has made it a priority to address bullying in schools through the implementation of effective strategies and actions since 2011.
As a participant in the Phare program, the volunteer will be involved in a variety of impactful activities, including:
- Engaging in annual training sessions focused on bullying prevention and the development of psychosocial skills.
- Supporting student leaders in their efforts to combat bullying.
- Assisting regional coordinators in their anti-bullying initiatives.
- Facilitating participation in program-related events.
- Accompanying classes during educational trips related to the project.
- Promoting awareness campaigns aimed at parents regarding bullying issues.
- Contributing to the execution of activities designed to enhance psychosocial competencies.
- Participating in the promotion of media initiatives within school environments.
This mission is designed for individuals who are 18 years or older, with a commitment of 24 to 30 hours per week, focusing on engaging with children and adolescents.
